drunk24 @ 03:11 pm: An excellent site
This is one of the first sites I hit when I started to deprogram from Alcoholics Anonymous. This site was one that I would stay up until 3 am reading and shaking my head the entire time. I couldn't believe what I was reading. After nearly 30 years in the cult, I knew that I had been duped.
I would leave AA shortly after this (3 years ago) and I have never looked back.

If you give your will to a HIGHER POWER, how could you have the will to continue to control your will?

And if you don’t have the will to control your will, & can’t control your will any longer, then how could you continue to place your will in the care of your HIGHER POWER?

What’s to stop you from accidentally “taking your will back” without meaning to do so?

Commitment or surrender of your life to Christ contains the sly concept of a condition attached to SALVATION.

The Bible never makes surrender to God, His laws, or a lifestyle of obedience to Him a condition for receiving His gift of eternal (salvation) ETERNAL LIFE.

SALVATION has only the condition of BELIEVING that the LORD JESUS CHRIST paid for our SINS by His DEATH on the CROSS.
